SunPoker bites the dust

As Full Tilt Poker is resurrected under new management, another site has gone for good, though not because of the American Government.

SunPoker was formerly known as CaribbeanSun. Like William Hill and InterPoker it was part of the CryptoLogic Network, which sadly is no more.

Now SunPoker is no more either. Sun moved to ipoker along with William Hill et al, but earlier this week, an e-mail to customers said it had closed, and accounts moved to Omni Casino.

This site does not offer poker but is purely for casino and similar games. Dedicated poker players will need to close their accounts and open new ones with other sites on the network, such as William Hill, or one of the established sites elsewhere like Party Poker, PokerStars or the newly reactivated Full Tilt.

Below are a few screengrabs from Sun during the good old days.

[On November 9, 2012, I published two poker articles on Digital Journal; both Full Tilt Poker is business as usual and this one were pulled by Silverberg the same day; both were republished the same day as blogs. This one was published with 4 screengrabs, which appear now to have all been deleted.]
