Chelsea is the daughter of Hillary Clinton.

(16) The actress Danniella Westbrook became a cocaine addict. There is an infamous photograph of her face that shows her collapsed septum.

On November 23, 2016, Thomas Mair was convicted of the murder of the Labour MP Jo Cox. The same day, homosexual serial killer Stephen Port was convicted (a pun on Cox/cocks).

A reference to a plane crash and a famous song about coffee in Brazil, ie coffee/coffins.

(22) A pun on the death of the actor Andrew Sachs who was best known for playing a character named Manuel.

(23) Edward Heath was Prime Minister from 1970-74. He died in 2005. Because he never married he was rumoured widely (and erroneously) to be homosexual. A decade after his death, he was accused of unspeakable crimes against the young. Again, erroneously.

(24) William Cornick murdered his teacher in 2014. Jon Venables is notorious.

(25) The actress Joan Collins celebrated her ninetieth birthday in 2023!

(29-34) Three well-known English musicians died in December 2016, hence the outbreak of puns based on their songs.

(52) Tara Claire Palmer-Tomkinson (1971-2017) – very sad. I corresponded with her once.

(56) I can’t remember where I found this headline but apparently the story was a hoax.

(57 & 59) Cressida Dick is indeed a lesbian. The tragic Jean Charles de Menezes was shot dead by police officer, an awful case of mistaken identity.

(76) A comment on corruption in the US Democratic Party, especially higher up.
