BARON v HOUSMANS

Although this transcript credits Lord Justice Latham with delivering the judgment, it was actually Collins who did so. I know that for a fact because it was Collins I faced at a judicial review when I tried to have a bent copper prosecuted for perjury. He literally laughed in my face as did the magistrate before him. Some of these people are beneath contempt.

Having said that, I should have accepted the out-of-court settlement; I realised I wouldn’t get anything substantial, but I wanted the judgment. Counsel did the appeal for me pro bono, and I never paid a penny towards their costs. I am though philosophical about this, because if my reputation is worth £14, then the reputation of every liar I expose is worth even less, and there have been quite a few of those over the years!
